Words don't always come. Needs still do.
When a child can't say what's wrong, small moments turn into hard ones. They are trying to tell you something, and nobody can hear it yet.
One picture can say "I need a break" before the meltdown does.
They can't tell you what's wrong.
Hungry, sick, too loud, need a break. When there's no way to say it, it comes out as tears or a meltdown.
New faces don't know their signs.
A sub, a bus driver, a grandparent. Every new person means starting over, and your child pays for it.
Tablets aren't always the answer.
They break, run out of battery, cost a lot, or aren't allowed in every room. Some days you just need something simple.

What parents ask us first.
Will my child understand the pictures?
Each picture is a clear, friendly drawing with one simple word under it. Many kids start with Yes, No and Bathroom, then add more as they get comfortable.
Which size should I get?
Large (7.5 x 13 cm) is best for teachers' lanyards and kids who need bigger pictures. Small (6 x 10.5 cm) fits backpacks, keyrings and little hands. Many families get one of each, one for home and one for school.
Does it replace speech therapy or a talking device?
No. It works alongside them. It's the quick, always-there backup for the moments when a tablet is out of reach, out of battery, or not allowed.
Can I put my child's name on it?
Yes. The back has a "This Board Belongs To:" area for your child's name, so anyone who finds it knows whose it is.
How do I hang it?
Each card has a top opening, so it is easy to carry, hold, or clip to a lanyard, a keyring or a backpack strap.
Who else can use it?
Anyone who spends time with your child: teachers, aides, bus drivers, babysitters, grandparents. No training needed. If they can point, they can use it.
Give them a way to be heard.
